Tick & Tick Borne Disease Awareness Signage

The Lyme Resource Centre is delighted to announce that we have partnered with the MRC-University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research “What makes viruses tick” Project led by the Brennan Lab and The Conservation Volunteers to install public information signs in a variety of popular outdoor spaces in Scotland.  The signs are carefully designed to help people recognise ticks and know how to prevent or detect tick bites. They describe what to do if people find an attached tick or have symptoms of Lyme disease.  The signs offer two QR codes where people can easily access more detailed info online and contribute to building the tick map by reporting sightings.”

Could you help keep people safe by mounting these tick signs in your outdoor spaces?
Please get in touch via our admin email address or via social media to request signs for installation.
