Fundraising

Fundraising for the Lyme Resource Centre is a great way to help keep people safe from Lyme Disease. From organising a raffle, to taking part in a kiltwalk, hosting a quiz night or a sponsored event, there are lots of ways you can help make enjoying the great outdoors safer.

Whatever you decide to do, the money you raise will go towards important projects such as:

  • Putting up signs in areas where ticks are found, to raise awareness.

  • Distributing posters and leaflets to parks, medical practices, and outdoor spots.

  • Developing educational resources for healthcare professionals, to raise awareness of Lyme disease and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.

  • Providing awareness materials on tick bite prevention and Lyme disease for schools and youth organisations
