Easter Breich Community Woodland installs signs in support of Lyme awareness month

The Easter Breich community wood has shown support for Lyme Disease awareness fund by installing Lyme Resource Centre signs at the entrance points to the woodland. The Easter Breich community wood is located in West Lothian between the villages of Seafield, Polbeth and West Calder and near to Livingston and is owned and managed by the community. The wood is a vibrant community asset consisting of a wide range of tree species planted around 25 years ago. It has an abundance of wildlife including a small Roe Deer herd who have made their home there.

The Easter Breich wood supports educational and conservation activities and is well used by the community for outdoor activity.

Here are members of the group seen installing the sign at the main entrance to the wood.
